DI achieved continuous growth and development after overcoming
the deepest recession in semiconductor industry throughout
the world in 2001 and foreign exchange crisis to result
in the unprecedented national bankruptcy with the unified
effort and will of all employees and officers. After recording
the highest sales of
KRW 126.7 billion in 2005, DI has been
securing our position of the first grade in semiconductor tester
industry of Korea.
However, due to drop in the growth rate of semiconductor industry
and excessive competition, we are now facing the fiercely
competitive structure. Also, demands for continuous technological
development and cost reduction have been pressing us down both
in and outside of our management environment.
At this, we have recognized the necessity of fundamental changes
once again, therefore have established company restructuring
focused on manufacturing business and business restructuring to
strengthen overseas business on the basis of concrete domestic
business. |

To solve such tasks at hand, all of us here in DI will exert strong effort and maintain willpower to achieve
changes and innovation.
Successful changes and innovation is achieved by the employees and officers working in the job site. As the
CEO, I will set an example to secure the basis for changes and innovation at the same time as making effort
to encourage and promote the employees and officers in their endeavor. Through changes and innovation,
we will strengthen the core abilities. On the basis of this, we will advance as one of the internationally
leading companies by providing our customers with values unparalleled by those of other companies.
So far, DI has been continuously leading the market as the leader in semiconductor tester industry of Korea.
However, through experiences, we are aware that settling down with the past achievements will instantly
lead to a setback. Therefore, I would like to emphasize 4 elements as our new management policies for
2007. |

For this, changes and innovation are inevitable and we are already standing in the middle of this movement.
Only the effort to change and develop by ourselves and to receive and accommodate the new can enable us
to convert risks into new opportunities and to advance as the best company in the world in the field of
semiconductor equipments.
All of us here in DI promise to exert the best effort until the very end without losing our present
determination to accept changes and innovation and to strengthen our new resolution.
